"Waiting for Santa" was taken from a picture of Robbie, (World, Int, PR and Am. Ch. Tessier Puttin' On the Ritz). You can see pictures of him on the Tessier Silky Terriers page, as well as the Gallery page. Robbie had recently gone to live with my sister in Canada and she had sent me the picture I used for this -- minus the sleigh and Old Saint Nick, of course. This card, "Joy of Christmas" was commisioned by my boss at the Mace Kingsley Family Center, Jeff Avrin. He told me that he couldn't find cards that simply expressed the joys children felt during Christmas. Please click on the images to see the full resolution.
From 2005:
"Kid Riding a Silky" represents my first attempt at drawing a flying Silky. The picture for this came from our Agility Trial at the National Specialty event in San Fransisco. I believe it was an "Oso" dog as Leslie Manning was running with him. Please click on the images to see the full resolution.
I have been making my own Christmas cards since 2003. I have recently expanded my line to include children. Other companies do excellent religious cards and humorous sketches; we will not try to duplicate those. But there are two niches that I believe my company Bergo Fun Cards can do better than you have seen elsewhere:
* the joys of Christmas, seen through the eyes of a child
* Christmas featuring my beloved breed, Silky Terriers
For more information and to order, email me at smesmer@yahoo.com. Just tell me the name of the card, how many you'd like, and any customization. I can change the message to your specifications, add your names, etc. I can also do a customized card of your dogs and/or children -- please email me for details.
Christmas is a time of joy, hope and goodwill toward men -- what better way to celebrate this than with quality cards from Sandy Bergstrom Mesmer?

This is "Snowing Silkys". It represented a first for me -- a truely multimedia card. Six watercolors of various Silkys, taken from our Agility Trial at the National Specialty event in Albuquerque, plus a watercolor of my house were completed. Then using Photoshop I miniaturized and manipulated the pictures until I had a pleasing whole. Please click on the images to see the full resolution.
From 2006:
This is "Have You Been GOOD?" our 2008 Silky Terrier card. Featured on the front is Ch. Tessier Tagalong Lucky Luke. Inside is his aunt, Ch. Ricochet Entrancement. Click on the images to see a full resolution.
This is "Singing Kids" our card featuring children for 2008, From left to right is an older Leo (he is actually only three), Henry and Laila Rubenstein, my neice's children. In the lower left is the top of my sister Lucy's head. Click on the images to see a full resolution.
"Looking for Santa" featured Val (Ch. Tessier A Valiant Karasar). Val was endlesslessly curious and loved nothing better than sniffing around in the bushes. He died peacefully in his sleep in 2007. Please click on the images to see the full resolution.
From 2003:
"Reindeer Emma" This is again Ch. Ricochet Entrancement. The photo shoot which produced this marvelous picture (and yes the tongue is accurate) gave me the lovely picture of Emma in my 2008 card. Please click on the images to see the full resolution.
