A little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing. And while ignorance is sometimes called bliss, really the ideal is to know enough to get the job done. You've gotten your dog, he or she is delightful, but....
Questions surface often about specifics. This is where I can help. I have been involved with Silky Terriers since 1981, breeding and/or showing over 80 champions during that time. I wrote "How To Turn Your Dog Into a Show-Off" and if I can't answer your question, I will know who can.
Of course it's up to you to apply my advice to the real world and my lawyer tells me you take my advice at your own risk. But the odds are that what's happening to you right now has either happened to me, my family and my dogs or has happened to a friend of mine. And if I have figured out a way to make things better, maybe I can pass that hard-earned advice on to you.
Below you will see the RSS feed from my ongoing blog at www.smalldogtraining.net. Feel free to visit the blog, you can also email me at smesmer@yahoo.com your questions about dogs, dog training and relationships with dogs and I will do my best to answer them. Come and laugh at my comic strip "Crazy Humans". Then come back to the website often to see what else I have to say.
